DELIGHTED TO HAVE FOR SALE is this very handsome Antique French Sterling Silver Ice Cream Server Set of 2 pieces, nicely housing in its original presentation box, by known and renown Parisian master silversmith Ravinet & D'Enfert (Louis Ravinet - Charles D'Enfert), active 1891-1921. This Set comprises two Ice Cream Servers: server knife and pelle (shovel) style flat server. The design to the handle is elegant Art Nouveau style Iris pattern. The blades are metal silver-plated with partial gilt finish, finely embellished with intricate hand-engraved decoration with Rococo motifs and Iris.
The presentation box is original to the set, with elegant cream coloured silk and velvet lined interior, open/close notch works perfectly. Retailer's mark "E. Curriès, 39. Avenue de la Fare, NICE" on the silk.
Hallmarked French Minerva No.1 Titre mark on the handles, to guarantee .950 purity sterling silver. This is one of the highest quality sterling silver in the world, purer than standard .925 sterling silver. Maker's mark of Ravinet & D'Enfert, founded by Louis Ravinet and Charles D'Enfert, at 83 rue de Temple in Paris, active between 1891-1912.

Very Good Estate Condition with trace of minor use. Some age-related light scratch marks and dimple-like micro dents here and there on the handles. A small, brown coloured water stain on the blade of knife, toward the handle. Please refer the detail photos we added. Otherwise in very good shape and ready for use.
