FOR YOUR CONSIDERATION IS this particularly attractive, fine and impressive Antique French Sterling Silver Cake Serving Dish by prestigious Parisian silversmith Emile PUIFORCAT, in excellent condition. This Serving Dish has gorgeously shaped border ornamented with raised feuille d'eau pattern with acanthus accent on each incurve, elaborated with pearl border toward the central well. It stands high on plain circular pedestal base, which makes this dish perfect for centrepiece as well.

Hallmarked French Minerva No.1 Titre mark to guarantee .950 purity sterling silver. This is one of the highest quality sterling silver in the world, purer than standard .925 sterling silver. Maker's mark of Emile Puiforcat. The Maison Puiforcat was established on 1857 at 18, then 16 rue Chapon in Paris. Emile died in 1883 and his successors maintained the same maker's mark, flourished to the one of the most renown Parisian silversmith till today.
