We are delighted to have for sale these very beautiful and in excellent condition Antique Imperial Russian Gilt Brass Candlesticks by Frolov Brothers. This fabulous Pair of Candlesticks has gorgeous baluster stem with a large and decorative wax-catcher on the lower part. It stands with three casted feet. This set is excellent for use but also a fabulous piece for display - with its modernist shape, it would make a stunning addition to both traditional and modern interiors. Hallmarked BR.Frolova (Бр.Фроловы) on both pieces.
Frolov Brothers were well-known masters in the field of non-ferrous metal casting, as well as excellent in hand craft jewellery and blacksmithing. The partnership of the brothers was founded in the second half of the 19th Century, the works of Frolov Brothers adorned the homes of landowners and noblemen for a long time. The workshop was ceased to exist shortly before 1917.

Very Good to Excellent Estate Condition with minor signs of light use. Some light scratch marks and tiny black spots here and there. One of the candlestick has wears on the bottom (see photo.) Otherwise in excellent shape and gilt-gold finish is still vivid and richly presented. Please refer the detail photos we added.
