This exceptionally beautiful Antique Rajasthani Indian Silver Chain Belt showcases extraordinary craftsmanship of the region of Rajasthan, Land of Kings.
This beautiful Chain Belt made of three heavily strong snakeskin chains binding flatly together with leaf-shaped fixtures. It is stunningly decorated with intricate floral motif, gadroon and pearl accents around the buckle. The open/close system is traditional Rajasthani style hidden screw with pommel top, which is in excellent working condition, opens and closes safely to put belt on and off. It is gracefully adorned by the black patina acquired through ages.
We could not find the hallmarks on this gorgeous Chain Belt, but this is usual for Antique Rajasthani silver objects. This belt is probably imported to Europe in early 20th Century.

31 1/2 inch (80 cm) long x 7/8 inch (1.1 cm) wide at the chain, 1 1/4 inch (3.2 cm) wide at the buckle.

Excellent Estate Condition with minor signs of light use. The buckle's open/close system operates perfectly.
