Offered for your consideration is this gorgeous Japanese Original Ukiyo-E Woodblock Print by Hiroshige II from his famous Shokoku Meisho Hyakkei (One Hundred Views of Famous Places in the Provinces) series, titled Sasshu Makurazaki Kaimongatake Jusei odori - depicting masked people dancing along a shore, overlooking Fuji mountain on the background. Circa 1859 (Ansei 6.) This is a part of 59 pages series.
Hiroshige II (1826-1869) was a successful artist of Japanese Ukiyo-E woodblock print design, inherited the artist name from famous Hiroshige Utagawa, whose daughter he married.
二代目歌川広重による浮世絵、諸国名所百景 薩州枕崎海門ヶ嶽寿星踊です。
紙はトリムされ、背後に厚紙が当てられています。イスラエルの芸術品収集家だったダヴィッド・ギルアドのコレクションスタンプが裏面に押されています。
左上端と右下端に小さな破れがあります他は、概ね良好な状態です。安政六年。

12.9 inch (33 cm) x 8.6 inch (22 cm).Good Antique Condition with 2 tears (one on the upper left corner, one on the lower right corner.) The paper is trimmed and having cardboard (thick paper) backing. There is a stamp by Israeli art collector David Gilad on the back. Please refer the detail photos I added.
