A VERY BEAUTIFUL and rare Antique French Sterling Silver Travel Casserole with gorgeous Rococo style scallop border decoration by prestigious Parisian silversmith Emile Puiforcat. It completed with original removable wooden handle. Excellent condition.
Hallmarked the French Minerva No.1 mark (twice), which guarantees .950 purity solid sterling silver, used in Paris since 1838. Trace of the maker's mark of Emile Puiforcat, active since 1857 at 16 rue Chapon - Paris.
