Offered for your consideration is this magnificent Antique French Sterling Silver Tea Kettle/Pot/Samovar in excellent condition. This massive piece is wholly made of the finest quality French sterling silver 950/1000 purity, both Tea Kettle/Pot and Stand (except the removable burner is silver-plated.) This Tea Kettle/Pot is finely decorated with classic Guilloche engine-turned engraving on the surface, with a raised, large oval cartouches on both sides. The Stand is also made of solid sterling silver, with matching Guilloche pattern on pedestal foot, holds the Tea Kettle/Pot with heart-shaped scrolling supporters.
It's completed with original burner - removal, for your convenience to refill oil.
Hallmarked French Head of Mercure No.1 marks on the each part of the kettle and the stand, which guarantees 950/1000 purity solid sterling silver, used in Paris since 1878 for exportation. Maker's mark is that of Edouard Husson, active around 1905 (date of mark struck-off is unknown.)

Burner (silver-plated) 2.5 inch (6.5 cm) high x 2.9 inch (7.5 cm) diameter. Weight 4.2 oz (120 grams)
Excellent Estate Condition with minor sign of light use. Some scratch marks, mainly on the top lid. The burner works perfectly. Please refer the detail photos we added.
