This Tea/Coffee Pot is wholly made of the finest quality French sterling silver .950 purity, finely decorated with elegant Louis XIV style revival. Ornate shell motif decoration with foliage accents and casted acorn finial on the top.
This Tea/Coffee Pot is great for use but also a fabulous piece for display - with its modernist shape, it would make a stunning addition to both traditional and modern interior. Excellent condition.
Hallmarked 1. French Minerva No.1 mark, which guaranteed .950 purity sterling silver, used in Paris since 1838. This is one of the finest quality sterling silver, higher than standard .925 sterling silver. 2. Maker's mark of Louis Coignet, 14 rue Barbette, them 20 rue Barbette, active 1889-1928.
