The Egg Cup and Egg Spoon are wholly made of the finest quality French sterling silver .950 purity. The decoration to the Egg Cup is gorgeous Rococo style raised rocaille scallop borders and cartouche, standing on casted tripod feet. The Egg Spoons has elegant Louis XVI style interlaced ribbon border with foliage accents, bears hand-engraved name "Lilian" on end of the handle. The Set would make a stunning addition to both traditional and modern table settings. Excellent estate condition and ready to grace your table.
Hallmarked 1. French Minerva No.1 Mark on both Egg Cup and Egg Spoon, which guaranteed 950/1000 purity sterling silver (higher than standard 925 sterling) used in Paris since 1838. 2. Maker's mark of Rudolphe Beunke, active in Paris 1888-1910 for the Egg Cup. Louis Coignet, active in Paris 1869-1928, for the Egg Spoon.
