The set including 2 serving forks, 1 pâté server and 1 pierced serving spoon or sugar sifter. All the 4 pieces are wholly made of the finest quality French sterling silver .950 purity.
The decoration is in elegant Art Nouveau style naturalistic pattern on the handle, with rocaille scallop border and accent of stalks of millet. One of the fork and pâté server have beautiful hand-engraving depicting millet in classic Art Nouveau styling. Circa 1900-1910. Excellent condition.
Hallmarked 1. French Minerva No.1 mark on each piece, which guaranteed .950 purity sterling silver, used in Paris since 1838. This is one of the finest quality sterling silver, higher than standard .925 sterling silver. 2.Maker's mark of A.M. Tallois.
