THIS VERY ELEGANT ANTIQUE French Sterling Silver & Crystal Wine Decanter is masterfully crafted by renown Parisian silversmith from late 19th Century, Henin & Cie, active since 1875 (date of the mark struck off is unknown.) The upper part is wholly made of finest quality French sterling silver .950 purity. This is higher purity of silver than standard .925 sterling. The design is sophisticated Louis XVI style with berried laurel swag and acanthus leaf borders. The hinged lid has casted finial in the shape of berries underneath scrolled acanthus.

Hallmarked French Minerva No.1 Titre mark on each part, which guaranteed .950 purity solid sterling silver, used in Paris since 1838. Maker's mark of Henin & Cie, 33 rue des Archives, active since 1875.

A special find for you! Don't miss out!
