This is a lovely égoïste size creamer in elegant Art Deco style crisp design. A baluster shaped body is standing on round pedestal feet, having uniquely shaped spout on the top.
Hallmarked French Mercure 1st Standard mark (Tête de Mercure) to guaranteed .950 purity sterling silver (higher than standard .925 sterling silver) for exportation, used in Paris since 1878. Maker's mark GB with lion in lozenge shape, for Gambert & Bibollet, active 1913-1924.
