Offered for your consideration is this beautiful Antique French Sterling Silver Salad Serving Bowl in excellent condition.
This lovely Serving Bowl has elegant Louis XVI Style decoration. It contoured with feuille d'eau pattern on the rim and embellished with repoussé floral swags on the bowl's surface. The interior has gorgeous Vermeil finish (gold-washed over sterling silver,) although slightly faded by age, this still looks stunning.
Of particular note in this attractive Serving Bowl is the delightful size: 8.6 inch (22 cm) diameter. This Serving Bowl is quite versatile and excellent for use but also a fabulous piece for display - with its modernist shape, it would make a stunning addition to both traditional and modern interiors.
Hallmarked the French Minerva No.1, which guarantees .950 purity solid sterling silver, used in Paris since 1838. Maker's mark of French silversmith in diamond shape, but it's not clear enough to find the reference.

Weight: 16 oz (454 grams) of solid sterling silver.
Excellent Estate Condition with minor signs of light use. Some tiny black spots mainly in the interior of the bowl, should be polished. The gilt finish is slightly faded. Please refer the detail photos I added.
