The Napkin Ring is wholly made of the finest quality French sterling silver .950 purity and having gorgeous partial gilt finish on the surface.
It is finely embellished with elegant Guilloche engine-turned engraving pattern in Art Nouveau style of Iris - one of the most beloved flowers of graceful Art Nouveau decoration.

Hallmarked French Minerva No.1 mark to guarantee .950 purity sterling silver, used in Paris since 1838. This is one of the highest standard of silver, purer than usual .925 sterling silver. Maker's mark is that of Maison Boulenger. The company was founded in 1810 under the name Hautin, and was continued in 1864 by Adolphe Boulanger, Hautin's great-nephew, at 4 rue du Vertbois in Paris. Exhibited at most of the national and international exhibitions, Boulenger received notable numbers of medals, prizes and diplomas until 1913.

The Napkin Ring is in Excellent Condition with minor sign of light use. A few age-related light scratch marks to note. Otherwise in quiet excellent shape.
