DELIGHTED TO HAVE FOR SALE this extremely elegant and very rare Antique French Partial Gilt Sterling Silver & Crystal Perfume Bottle Case with original four bottles in excellent condition. The Case is wholly made of the highest quality French sterling silver .950 purity and having gorgeous Vermeil gold gilt finish interior. This cylinder-shaped case contains four perfume bottles, each bottle has quarter circle shape.
The decoration to the case's exterior is truly sumptuous, gorgeous, and elegant. The surface has delicate Guilloché engine-turned engraving lines and dots pattern in Napoleon III era style. It was embellished with floral garlands with ribbon bow joints, bouquet of roses, berried laurel, and pearl border. The Bottle's neck has gilt sterling silver mount, having matching Guilloché engraving decoration. The stoppers are equally gorgeous - finely faceted crystal ball finish for all four. The round surface of crystal body has beautiful hand-etching floral swag decoration.
Hallmarked French Minerva No.1 Titre mark on each silver part, to guarantee .950 purity sterling silver. This is one of the highest quality sterling silver in the world, purer than standard .925 sterling silver. Maker's mark with a deer (?) in lozenge shape.
A special find for you! Don't miss out!
