This is a very beautiful and in excellent condition Antique Solid Silver Novelty Guitar Figurine or Snuff Box. Although we could not identify the origin of this adorable piece, it is absolutely certain that this is a work of skilful master silversmith. On the surface of guitar's body, we can see a very detailed and lovely scene of a violinist playing music with a child, and village people enjoy listening.
Hallmarked 1. "X" marks (3 times.) 2. Mark "ARF", probably silversmith's mark. 3. French importation control mark "Swan."
