The decoration is elegant Napoleon III era style Guilloché engine-turned engraving with fine lines and dots pattern, embellished with hand-engraved oval cartouche on a side. Monogram LA with scrolling interlaced letters. Excellent estate condition.
Hallmarked 800 solid silver guarantee marks (not silver-plated.) French silver importation control mark Swan, used in Paris since 1893.
