About The Artist:
Albert Benaroya was born in Istanbul, Turkey in 1963. As a young child his family moved to Israel where he spent his early childhood until the end of his primary education. His father was then transferred to Kenya and it was here that Albert began to express an interest in art. The beauty and the contrasting imagery of the different countries he experienced, inspired him to paint, always choosing the medium of oil on canvas/linen to express the essence and truth of the beauty he saw around him. Albert expresses the world and life, "AS IT IS", however with subtle, interesting changes in composition and by using the technique of aesthetics, plus perfect color to further enhance the creativity of his work. His scientific observation of the natural phenomena is expressed in the purist, classical spirit, showing both great passion, integrity and the ability to conceive and then interpret the subject matter to yet a further higher spiritual level. Benaroya also lived in South Africa for several years before returning home to Israel where he now resides. His earlier day's works are often signed "Albojuk" as well.
