This set consists of 4 solid sterling silver pedestal footed serving dishes with matching monogram MM. The design is most sophisticated Louis XVI style raised interlaced ribbon borders, having uniquely shaped rim, with gorgeous foliage accents on four corners.
Fabulously decorated with hand-engraved monogram MM, this superb quality 4 pieces set proudly weights 1,773 grams in total (62.54 oz).
Hallmarked the French Minerva No.1 Titre mark on each piece, which guaranteed 950/1000 purity solid sterling silver, used in Paris since 1838. This is one of the highest standards of silver - higher than 925/1000 sterling. Maker's mark of Alphonse Debain, 79 rue de Temple in Paris, active 1883-1911.
