This lovely Creamer has classical Melon shaped body with uniquely shaped scroll handle, stands on four feet with foliate accent in Rococo style design. It bears a gorgeous hand-engraved monogram probably EL. A flared spout is extremely elegant and eye-catching, to say the least.

Hallmarked French Minerva No.1 Titre mark, which guaranteed 950/1000 purity solid sterling silver, used in Paris since 1838. This is one of the highest quality silver contents, higher than standard 925/1000 sterling. Maker's mark of Debain & Flamant, active 1880-1891, by Alphonse-Edouard Debain and Louis-Frédéric Flamant. They are the successor of François-Alphonse Debain, 140 rue du Temple, and later succeeded by Alphonse-Edouard Debain's son, Alphonse Debain.
