Delighted to have for sale this gorgeous Antique French Sterling Silver Dinner Fork, dated back early 18th Century. Unfortunately these very old hallmarks are slightly faded and we could not identify the exact year, but it's absolutely sure that this fork is quite old. Perhaps the production of Bourbon monarch era, Louis XV or Louis XVI. It is as classically French as it gets - elegant "Double-Fillet" Fiddle Thread pattern design with very long, sharp tines are making real statement. This piece is really huge and heavy, you can enjoy this as a serving/carving fork as well. Hand-engrave monogram, probably BD, within a shield shaped cartouche.

Hallmarked silver guarantee mark of City of Paris, perhaps that of 1732-1738, but not sure. Other 3-4 unidentified marks of 18C France. Please refer the detail photos I added.
