This fabulous Serving Piece is wholly made of the finest quality French sterling silver 950/1000 purity, finely embellished with intricate hand-engraving and chased decoration. The decor including Directoire style foliage and floral basket, acanthus, berried laurel, and scrolls. The blade is finely pierced and having partial Vermeil finish (gold-washed over sterling silver.) The presentation box is original, upholstered with olive-green velvet and cream silk lining.
