This is an excellent quality and very beautiful Antique French Sterling Silver Serving Bowl or Centerpiece in very good condition. The design is most ornate Rococo or Louis XV style, featuring rocaille scallop borders, scrolls, floral accents, and pierced net on textured background. It embellished with a hand-engraved large monogram KG on its centre. This Serving Bowl stands high on wide spread four feet pedestal, with shell and scroll decoration.

Hallmarked a trace of French Minerva No.1 Titre on the back, to guarantee .950 purity sterling silver (slightly faded, perhaps a result of polishing.) This is one of the highest quality sterling silver in the world, purer than standard .925 sterling silver.
