OFFERED FOR YOUR CONSIDERATION is this fabulous Antique French Sterling Silver & Crystal Wine Decanter or Lemonade Pitcher, finely crafted by one of the most prestigious Parisian silversmiths, Emile Puiforcat. The design is the most sophisticated and opulent Louis XVI style, featuring foliage swags, berried laurel borders, acanthus motifs, and interlaced ribbon border contour. Butternut shaped crystal body is finely faceted elegant vertical lines, catches light as you move it. Excellent condition and ready to grace your table!

Hallmarked French Minerva No.1 Titre mark on each parts, to guarantee .950 purity sterling silver. This is one of the highest quality sterling silver in the world, purer than standard .925 sterling silver. Maker's mark of Emile Puiforcat. The Maison Puiforcat was established on 1857 at 18, then 16 rue Chapon in Paris. Emile died in 1883 and his successors maintained the same maker's mark, flourished to the one of the most renown Parisian silversmiths.
