The design to the sterling silver is opulent Rococo style rocaille scallop border and scrolls, in delicate and thoughtful, yet bold composition. It nicely stands on a round pedestal base. The handle, gorgeously formed in Rococo style scrolls with foliage accents, is very eye-catching, and comfortable to hold at the same time. Excellent condition and ready to grace your table.
Hallmarked French Minerva No.1 Titre mark on each parts, to guarantee .950 purity sterling silver. This is one of the highest quality sterling silver in the world, purer than standard .925 sterling silver. Maker's mark AH with five-branch star, for Alfred Hector, active 1881-1913.
