OFFERED FOR YOUR CONSIDERATION is this fabulous and very rare Antique German Silver Centerpiece or Serving Bowl/Basket with gorgeous embossed reliefs. This exceptional quality Centerpiece consists of 14 bouquet of flower in horn shaped vase reliefs welded to the base and contoured rim, completed with side handles in shape of mythological fish. The contoured rim is finely pierced and shaped, embellished with oak leaves and acorn with stunning artistry and craftsmanship. The domed base is adorned with Rococo style shallop or shell motifs surrounding a protruded silver ball.

Hallmarked German Solid Silver Guarantee mark of Berlin, used in 1820-1830s. "A" mark in a circle for 19C German silver. Maker's mark probably of Koch & Bergfeld.

Good Antique Condition. Please note that this piece is nearly 200 years old, this means there are some major wears; including a loss of scrolling end of one of the vase reliefs, loss of some tips of oak leaf motif on the edge, loss of some acorn decoration, and a few dents on base. Please refer the detail photos I added before place your order. Otherwise, considering its age, this Centerpiece is still in good condition ready for use or display.
