The set comprises large Ice Cream Serving Knife and Flat Server, total 2 pieces. The handles are having most elegant À la Russe Russian style shape and decoration, embellished with acanthus leave and pearl border. The blade and bowl are beautifully decorated with hand-engraved flower, roses and bird. Excellent condition. Hallmarked the French Boar's Head mark on each pieces, which guarantees at least .800 purity silver, used in Paris since 1838. Maker's mark is that of Vve E. Compère, active 1868-1888.
